I want the Government to make unpaid trial shifts illegal. Workers are being exploited and working for a week or more without payment, and not even getting the job. Employers even use this as a regular means of staffing workplaces with zero labour costs. A minimum wage is what it says.

Because increasingly not just young people in cafes, but in bigger stores and cleaning companies, are taking on staff, telling them all it is a trial, not paying, getting their work done for free, and leaving desperate people without money or hope.
