Closed Increase the amount of Paternity leave from 2 weeks to a few months

I want the Government to increase the amount of Paternity leave a male gets when having a child.

In a day with equality being the forefront of movements I believe it's about time males are given sufficient time with their child at early stages to bond. New mothers can have up to a year off; a few months to recover and then time to bond with the child but the farther of the child gets 2 weeks. Fathers should be given more time off to bond with and support the mother in childcare.
