Closed Prevent Covid vaccines for children until clinical trials have fully concluded

While a number of children have sadly died with Covid, severe or life-threatening symptoms in children are rare, and any plans to roll out vaccination to all children would appear to be more about protecting the vulnerable, than children.

Whilst the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation has started to look at the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in children, the long term effects are unknown.

Until clinical trials for vaccines have fully concluded the precautionary principle should apply, and children should not be vaccinated.
