Closed petition Make convicted murdered ineligible for compassionate release

Remove the rights of convicted murderers applying for compassionate release, which is often granted when they are on the end of life pathway. They shouldn’t be eligible for compassionate release for it they’re serving a sentence for taking a life.

More details

They took a life away and are serving a life sentence. Why should their life ending mean they can be released from their sentence and give them freedom to die in the outside world, when their victims didn’t get this privilege?
