We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Fund increase in police stations across England and Wales

Towns/villages up and down the country need local police stations. It is a crime in itself that our Police Stations have been closed, sold and left empty whilst crime increases. This country and its Police Forces deserve to be able to work directly and locally with our communities.

More details

Hundreds of people are killed on our streets every year, and the reduced police presence makes it harder to catch criminals. Having local police stations will show a presence and allow our Police Force to build better community relationships and give them a platform to police our streets directly. We would like work to start immediately on reopening local empty Police Stations and rebuilding the ones that have been sold off for development. We and our police deserve better.
