Rejected petition Debate the Legal Legitimacy of every UK Government since 2010
To consider and debate the legitimacy of every Elected UK Government since 2010 in regards to Conservatism as a political belief system being wholly and legally incompatible with the Equality Act passed by the last Labour government in 2010.
More details
The Equality Act(2010) at it’s core holds that any elected official must be committed to reducing socio-economic inequality. The cause of inequality has been discussed, debated and accepted in political circles for the last 400 years. Inequality is caused by a particular set of conditions, namely; Freedom under Law or rather restraint for the many, freedom from obligation for the few. The whole point of Conservatism is the conservation of those conditions. Do we therefore have a legal State?

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The Socio-Economic Duty (Part 1 of the Equality Act) has not been brought into force, so there is no legal duty to uphold it. In any case, a failure to uphold the law would be a matter for the courts.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
