Closed Establish a regulatory and licensing framework for developers of new build homes

To create a governing body that licences and regulates developers. They could require certain qualifications to gain a licence. Licences could be revoked for consistent poor building and poor practices (such as not fixing issues). Additional regulation could also hold bad developers accountable.

A home is the most expensive purchase that most of us will make in our lives, and yet developers are able to get away with providing sub-standard and even dangerous accommodation, and still continue on to new projects, whilst the new home owner is left at the developer's mercy as to whether they will fix it.
