Ear piercing for babies and very small children is non consenting.
They are not old enough to ask for this to be done.
Small children who do ask are not mature enough to understand the procedure of piercing or a life long effect a body piercing has.
I witnessed a 4 month baby having her ears pierced in the fashion shop “claire’s”
This baby was crying, clearly uncomfortable and anxious it was extremely upsetting to witness.

I am calling for the government to change this to make it unlawful.
