Rejected petition Keep all student junior nurses and doctors in employment.

I would like the government to keep all student nurses and doctors in employment and not kick them out. They’ve helped save a lot of lives in the pandemic and they deserve a lot more than getting kicked out of the industry. Student nurses and doctors that worked in the pandemic need recognition.

This includes those who worked in the hospitals as placement students. They need to be able to have jobs in the industry because of the amount of help and lives they saved.

We understand you are concerned about job opportunities for student nurses and doctors, however it's not clear what you are referring to when you say they are being "kicked out" of the profession. It is therefore not clear what it is you would like the Government to do.

You could start a petition calling on the Government to fund guaranteed jobs for all student nurses and doctors on the NHS, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
