Rejected petition Ensure job protection so that people don't lose a job for medical cannabis
I would like the government to ensure amnesty granted for all those seeking work,also discriminated against during interview process, don't risk job loss if currently in work due to lack of funds,proving difficult for patients to access medical cannabis when have a medical prescription for cannabis.

Medicinal Cannabis being legalised has no effect on workplace testing.
does that mean it’s safe to use in the workplace?Not at all.In charge of testing and worried your policy won’t stand now, don't worry.If your policy states that you have a zero tolerance to illegal or non-prescribed drugs, you don’t need to change
(So this is clear that work life regarding medical cannabis is not currently fully protected in the UK.)
