Closed Ban non-UK residents from purchasing UK properties

As a UK resident since birth I am looking to buy my 1st home but many properties are snapped up to be let out, including by foreign nationals.

I was under the impression that our Government wants a country of buyers and not renters, so we need to put a stop to this to make it easier for UK residents to get on the property ladder.
