Closed Fund baby boxes so babies can be given up safely

The Government should fund the installation of baby boxes, also known as baby hatches, in places like hospitals and social centres so babies can be given up safely by mothers who don’t feel they can care for them.

The Government have the ability to do this. I feel it would stop a lot of unfortunate babies losing their lives. I feel like lockdown has had a huge impact on the health care system and there isn’t always enough support out there for people who have gotten pregnant but don’t feel they can take care of their new baby.
