Rejected petition Lower Mammogram Screening Age

Lower the screening age from 50 years old to 25. To check once every 5 years, similarly to smear testing.

More details

Reducing the age of a mammogram from 50 to 30 will save lives.
Because more and more women in their 30s and 40s are diagnosed and treated with breast cancer, why shouldn't the mammogram age be reduced? The only way a woman can detect a lump is through self examination when they are younger than 50, and this may not always be reliable if women do not know the facts.
