Closed Make safe isolation equipment Zero-rated for VAT

Reduce the cost of buying safe isolation products, such as Voltage Indicators, Proving units and lock off devices, to make these more accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier to carrying out Safe isolation then remove as much of the barrier as possible.

Removing VAT on Safe isolation products goes a long way to classing Voltage Indicators and Proving units and Lock off devices as the same as PPE.

Electrical systems have changed and we need to change too. Reducing the cost of safe isolation products is the first step to making our society a safer place.
