Closed Extend the NHS £5000 grant to medicine and dentistry students

I would like the government to organise the £5000 grant for medical and dental students for at least a bare minimum of 3 years if not all 5.

Allied healthcare students receive a £5000 grant for each year of their course. However medicine and dentistry students do not. This is unfair as it singles out students with no basis. This should be provided for all health care students not just the majority. Furthermore the courses for dentistry and medicine are both 5 years in which the normal student finances and loans decrease overtime. Students should receive this to help them especially in later years when on placements.
