Closed petition No Taxpayer Funding For The Future Wedding Prince Harry

Closed on

With the British public being told that austerity measures may have to go on until at least 2020 and possibly beyond we feel that it is only right that the government do not waste any public money on any future Royal family weddings in particular that of Prince Harry.

Royal weddings are costly to the Taxpayer and an unnecessary luxury for the taxpayer to be expected to pay for.

The Queen has vast personal estates where Royal weddings can be held in complete privacy and at less cost to the taxpayer so we would like the government to insist that the Royal Family do indeed arrange such weddings on their own estates and save the taxpayers money.
