The Scottish Government has introduced a Carer's Allowance Supplement of £231.40 twice a year for people receiving Carer's Allowance in Scotland. The UK Government should extend this supplement to people who claim Carer's Allowance in England and Wales.

Carer's allowance to be debated by MPs

On Wednesday 30 March, MPs will take part in a Westminster Hall debate on carer's allowance. The debate will be led by Karl Turner MP. The debate will start at 2:30pm and last for up to 90 minutes.
