Petition Require Highways England halt and reverse infilling of historic railway bridges

The Government should prevent Highways England from infilling historic railway bridges, which could prevent extensions of the heritage railways, and require Highways England to remove all infill from work they already done.

The Heritage Railway movement is worth millions to the UK economy. Some of the bridges that Highways England is planning to or even has infilled are reducing the chances of some of the Heritage Railways from extending their present length.
