In case of an emergency, if a disabled person or carer is blocked into their space, it could delay critical medical attention.
This happened to me recently. I was parked in disabled space with blue badge and stickers displayed. A driver parked behind my car, not in a designated space, and abandoned his car to go inside the shops. In the event of an emergency I wouldn’t have been able to seek critical medical attention in time!
