The Government should make wearing of a stab vest mandatory for workers holding a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence when on duty, due to knife crime and risk of security being attacked.

Many security workers fear being attacked, but often security workers do not have protective gear when on duty. Making wearing a stab vest a legal requirement for SIA licensed security workers should help protect workers.
