High Cost of Limited Leave to Remain Visa Application & the National Health Surcharge puts Non-EU immigrant in debt especially when a family of more than two is applying for visa extension. NH Surcharge I believe is double-charging immigrant hence they are working and paying their portion of NI . Most of these Non-EU Immigrant go into borrowing to afford the money their application, and most go into working too many hours just to afford the money, thereby putting their health at risk.
