Closed Make the Care Quality Commission responsible for oversight of managed quarantine

The Government should give the CQC regulatory oversight of all providers of managed quarantine to ensure safety & compliance. Managed quarantine is not a normal hotel & therefore must be regulated. Confusing healthcare & hotel services can lead to unsafe practices & serious consequences.

We believe managed quarantine services fail in delivering an effective & safe service & fails to protect the public. People required to undertake managed quarantine, including children, disabled children, nursing mothers, pregnant women & vulnerable adults, have faced unacceptable service. Wellbeing, welfare & lives are at risk. Effective regulatory oversight is needed.
