There should be a separate regulator for cryptocurrency market, with a board of people with experience in the cryptocurrency market, to define clear rules for the market.

The cryptocurrency market is now well established. It is decentralised so no one has any authority over it. As with any market, there are scammers and fraud but this should not define the cryptocurrency market. The technology behind cryptocurrency should not be underestimated. It is time for the UK government to recognise the legitimacy of the cryptocurrency market, by establishing a regulator that can protect the market and investors.
