Closed petition Replace self-isolation requirements for school students with daily testing

Exempt students who are identified as a contact of a positive Covid case from the requirement to self-isolate, so they can continue attending school, replacing this with daily rapid lateral flow tests, and only having to isolate if they test positive.

The current isolation rules are having a severe detrimental impact on our children’s education and mental well-being, as well as causing serious financial difficulties for parents having to take repeated time off from work. The current rules are not proportionate or sustainable. Our children need to be able to stay in school.
