Closed petition Fund increased support for Avoidance Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

Closed on

The Government should fund increased NHS support for sufferers of Avoidance Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder is characterised by the person avoiding certain foods or types of food, having restricted intake in terms of overall amount eaten.

ARFID can have a significant impact on a person's physical and mental health, but in too many areas sufferers do not receive the support they need. The Government should provide funding to increase NHS support for sufferers of Avoidance Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
