The Government should reimburse anyone who paid for private medical services during the pandemic because of reduced NHS services. A waiting list of well over a year on the NHS compared to a few weeks privately is despicable.

Whilst the covid 19 pandemic has happened in the UK the NHS waiting times for operations have more than doubled. Many people have had to pay for private medical services for things that would normally be available on the NHS, because services have been restricted and waiting times increased. Many people have struggled to pay for private medical care, and even taken out loans. These costs should be reimbursed by the Government.
