Closed petition Require mask-only carriages on all trains

To mandate a suitable proportion (representative of the proportion of the population who want masks in public) of carriages on all trains, including tubes, in England require mandatory wearing of masks to help prevent Covid beyond 19th July 2021.

A large part of the population want continued mask wearing in public. They know the science shows this helps prevent the spread of Covid. The Government's currently stated policy leaves those who follow the science and care for others at the mercy of those who don't. This will cause huge anxiety, and possibly severe illness and death where this did not need to be the case.
