Closed petition Lifetime bans on attending football matches for racist or violent offences

It is totally unacceptable to slur football players with racist comments for any reason whatsoever. Racism should not be tolerated. As well as the racism there have been unacceptable acts of violence. Racist or violent football-related offences should result in a lifelong ban on attending matches.

More details

After recent events during and following the Euros football final, it is totally unacceptable to slur players with racist comments just because the England team didn’t win, or for any other reason whatsoever. Racism of any form has no place in today’s society and should not be tolerated. As well as the racism there were extreme acts of violence, which is also totally unacceptable.

The intention of this petition is to ban for life from attending football matches, any person or persons positively identified as to being the culprit or culprits of any form of racism or violence towards anyone directly or indirectly involved with any game whether it be local, national or international.
