This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand you're concerned about the killing of dolphins and whales, sanctioned by the Faroe Islands Government. However, decisions about who to trade with, and what for, within the law are commercial matters for individual customers and businesses, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could have a petition calling on the UK Government to work internationally to pressure the Faroe Islands Government to ban the killing of whales and dolphins, if that is something you'd like to see happen.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
