Following changes to pension legislation around accessing pension funds from April 2015 this did not extend to existing annuity holders. Change legislation to allow annuity holders the option to access their fund.
Peoples circumstances change and it is unfair that people who have not purchased an annuity have the option to flexibly access their pension while those who have are stuck with them for life.
