Rejected petition Give lorry drivers the upgrades on there Liscence towing rights

Change the rules on towing if you have a lorry Liscence category c or c1 so you can tow on a car or van as you are already a professional driver and have to do another test. When already a professional driver.

After 1997 you can not tow on a van or a car more then 3.5ton unless you have taken the relevant test. But if you have a category c1 or c why should we be penalised and still not be able to tow when you have proved with another test to be a professional driver. But previous pre 1997 people who haven’t even driven a 7.5ton can and can also tow on a van or a car Liscence. I personally think it needs a review and updating.
