The public should via referendum be consulted on whether they are willing to accept some forms of social distancing and face coverings to protect life or cease these measures.

The majority of the public may be willing to accept a new normal of some form of social distancing and face coverings rules in order to limit deaths until another way is found to achieve this. This decision should not be made by a few hundred politicians or the government of the day.
