More details
In the summer in the UK it is too hot. The number of elderly and young children being exposed to extreme temperatures is seriously damaging to their mental health and physical well-being. By making everyone not so hot the entire time, professional and educational productivity and mental health will improve significantly, and demotivation and heat-related stress will reduce. Thereby increasing the UK's GDP.
This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a decision for property owners.
We could accept a petition requiring all new residential building to be required to have air conditioning, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
