The clear blue skies during lockdown, when very few jets flew, as demonstrated to many people just how much pollution jet aircraft cause.

Ban jet flights to and from the UK, and from overflying UK airspace. Ban jet aircraft (other than military aircraft, or those used for licenced research, or technological development purposes) from taking off or landing ( other than in emergency threatening loss of life) from the UK, and from overflying UK airspace.
