The use of a non-renewable source of energy i.e. charcoal. Obtaining it generates emissions and can lead to deforestation.
They can not be re-cycled, and the waste goes to land fill sites.
Used irresponsibly, fires can be started. Some people leave the behind as litter for other people to pick up.
