Closed petition Make allotment space a legal requirement for new major housing developments.

To look into this matter and ratify it in law to ensure that all developers comply with this as part of their application plans.

More details

Many new housing projects have very small gardens or no outdoor space. Allotments bring communities together of all ages and provide both fresh air and exercise for all ages. They help sustainability and also increase the chances of adults/children eating their five a day. With obesity on the rise this would be a perfect way to help with many issues of mental health and wellbeing. Please make this a law.
