It would encourage more individuals to come forward to be become a nurse - stopping the shortage of nurses.
It would take financial stress off students.
It would allow students to not have to work for money alongside doing 37.5 hours on clinical placements.

If you want a petition specifically requiring student midwives and nurses to be paid the minimum wage, we could accept a petition requesting this, but it would need to request that this be imposed as a requirement on employers, as the Government wouldn't be responsible for paying this directly.
