The Government should hold their own inquiry into the effectiveness and ethics of the implementation of Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM), and similar models.

We believe SIM fundamentally undermines the basic duty of care services hold in providing aid to those who need it - whether psychological or physical.

The Government must investigate its the effectiveness and ethics of SIM, with a view to setting out evidence supporting its use, or identifying alternatives.
