Closed Introduce mandatory training/regulations for private users of jet skis

Ownership/use of private jet skis has increased dramatically but there are no regulations in place or certificates of competency to protect other sea users.
A Code of Practice, certificated training and registration for private users, with enforceable fines for breaching the rules, is needed.

For river and harbour users privately owned jet skis can cause a serious nuisance.

This Code is essential to protect the wider community who may be also using the sea for recreational or commercial purposes before a serious accident occurs.
