For a new law to be passed that requires mandatory random drug tests for illegal substances every six months for all MPs, Lords and Special Advisors.

The people who are governing our country should not be taking illegal substances, particularly when they have to make important decisions, which affect millions of people. If politicians are found to not have taken illegal substances it will be useful in dispelling rumours and smears around Westminster politics. In addition, if they test positive they can step down from their duties and receive the help they need.
