Closed The government to overturn the decision to replace E5 petrol with the E10 type.

The government has introduced the E10 petrol without any consultation of the UK population. This was not stated during the election so there is no mandate for this action.

E5 petrol is still available but a a higher cost, making this just another stealth tax. The E10 fuel should be therefore be scrapped as it does very little to reduce pollution.

The government is promoting the use of electric vehicles so emissions will start to reduce naturally over time.

The introduction of the less efficient E10 fuel will require drivers to drive their vehicles harder therefore potentially increasing the emissions.
