Closed Provide funding for NHS occupational therapy in all regions

Not all regions have occupational therapy available on the NHS for sensory processing disorder and Autism. This means parents are having to go private which costs a lot of money which for some is just not affordable.

Children with Autism/ Sensory issues education and life can be controlled by their sensory need. This is some cases causes their learning and life to be disrupted. Some children in low income families cannot afford the assessments and therapy and are being left to fight to access funds to help their children or to fund themselves. Some regions offer this on NHS while some don’t, why should children be disadvantaged by what postcode they live in. This needs addressing.
