Closed Removal of parental responsibility if convicted of murdering their spouse.

Automatically remove Parental Responsibility rights from someone who has either admitted or is convicted of murdering [their] partner who shared parental responsibility of any surviving children in the relationship.

It is felt that current legislation does not provide adequate scope for the above proposal to happen. This is especially important for those close relatives who will have to ultimately apply for orders such as a Special Guardianship Order so as to provide a safe and caring future for the surviving children.
