Rejected petition Give some leway on taking just water to school
I understand there is a policy in schools to only take water for children to drink through the day. I think there should be some leway on this as not all children like water and on hot days their not drinking enough.

Children should be able to take flavoured still water or sugar free dilute juice.
I wouldn't rather a child drink throughout the day then have a child dehydrated in hospital. Schools can not force a child to drink water if they don't like it.
Having a drink is a human right!
