Closed Increase min wage for HGV drivers to £15/£17.50ph plus further £1ph for ADR

The wages have for a long time been poor for professional drivers and making minimum wage for class 2 (£15 per hour) and class 1 (£17.50ph), along with a further £1ph extra for ADR dangerous goods drivers should entice people into the industry.

Making tests easier just creates issues. Pay us better to do the job we do

There are many people with HGV licenses doing other work that pays more.

Pay us what we deserve and see how quick the driver shortage ends.
