Closed petition Require social media sites to remove content showing physically harmful activity

Make sure people are safe when using social media websites and not accessing videos or content which could be physically dangerous or unsafe. If websites or apps don't become stricter about this sort of material, they should be banned.

There have been reported cases of children ending up in hospital and requiring medical treatment after watching dangerous content such as videos that encourage people to eat small magnets. We don't want anyone else to have to go through this so the Government should take action immediately. In addition, there should be more focus on the teaching of internet safety in primary schools.
