Closed Ensure when police officers are off duty that hand in warrant cards, handcuffs

Police officers should not be allowed to carry a Warrant card or police handcuffs off duty. These should only be accessed while on duty, and kept in safe storage as they go off duty and not returned until they go back on duty again.

Access to warrant cards and police handcuffs needs to be better regulated and officers shall only have access to them while on duty.

Signing them in and out of the station secure office storage until they are signing in for duty again, in a similar way to how access to police firearms is managed.
