Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition All issues get voted by the UK population - MPs will just debate the issues

One vote every five years is no longer democracy in an internet age. The UK needs to be the first parliament that hands the voting of all issues into the hands of all UK residents and passport holders who are over 16.

MPs would not be able to vote on issues, just debate them in HoC. I think this should be the future for our democracy.
