Closed Allow e-scooters to be used in the same places as bicycles

The Government should allow all e-scooters on the road and cycle paths legally the same as bikes.

Despite the 'private use only' clauses the sellers of these scooters display, one would have to have access to large private land to make use of them. People are buying these as they are a cheap and effective means of commuting and personal travel. We believe they aren't more dangerous than bikes, so should not face additional restrictions that bikes do not.
