Closed Fine those who fail to attend their NHS appointments

Missed appointments waste valuable NHS resources and affects other patients attending their GP / hospital. If there was a fine for missing your appointment, without a valid excuse, patients would think twice. There should be reminder letters and texts sent with confirmatory phone calls.

It would help if there was a list of those who can come at the last minute if there are any cancellations.
